Leading thin-film power solutions company Hanergy Thin Film Power Group, headquartered in Beijing, continues to expand its technology solutions in Europe. 

It has successfully completed its first HanTile solar roof tile project in the province of Groningen, the Netherlands.

Thanks to the use of Hanergy's advanced installation technology, the project was completed in just 1 week, installing 12.5 kW of power capable of generating 9800 kWh of electricity per year to supply 2 homes. 

The leading clean energy company partnered to carry out this project with Van Wijnen Gorredijk, a renowned local construction company in the Netherlands, continuing the momentum of its "Building for the Future" sustainability project.

Launched in 2017, HanTile solar shingles perfectly combine state-of-the-art technology, one of the most efficient solar chips on the market, and aesthetics. 

They prove an attractive replacement for traditional roof tiles as they convert sunlight into electricity, generating energy savings and providing a greener life in buildings.

Hanergy's thin-film products have been used in the Netherlands in various projects, such as at the AFAS Stadium, the home stadium of the Dutch Eredivisie soccer club AZ, where flexible MiaSol� thin-film PV modules were installed on part of the stadium roof.
